About Us

Liam Mc Quaid established Abbey Tree Services in August of 2009. Abbey Tree Services is based in Boyle Co. Roscommon. The name “Abbey “was derived form the abbey which is based in Boyle and is now a national monument in state care.

Liam also had a love of the outdoors and attended college and has worked in the industry since he was 17.After years of experience in the industry, they knew they were capable of delivering a high quality, professional service for home owners, businesses and utility providers alike.

As the years passed, the business grew  until they had a full crew of full-time employees which they have trained to be tree surgeons, or timber operatives. Abbey Tree Services specialises in tree surgery and excel at tree climbing.

Abbey Tree Services are specialist tree cutters and approved contractors for clients such as ESB .They manage a huge amount of overgrown trees and conifer hedges for their private homeowners. They also carry out dangerous tree felling for local authorities and semi state bodies such as OPW and Coillte.

We can take excellent care of your trees while still offering a keen rate.
